Meet the Experts
Sreenath Bhat
Founder & Director | Chartered Accountant
Sreenath is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 18 years of experience in audit, accounting and financial advisory, including 12 years with KPMG in India and the UK.
​
Having spent more than five years working in the UK, he brings first-hand experience of the UK accounting and business environment. At KPMG, he led audits of large, internationally active businesses across sectors including shipping, healthcare, retail, IT/ITES and financial services.
​
He has strong expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102) and Indian GAAP, with extensive experience in leading UK–India delivery teams, driving process improvements and enhancing operational performance.
​
Having worked on both sides of the UK–India delivery model, Sreenath brings a practical understanding of what UK businesses expect from their finance partners — experience that forms a key part of Finara's approach today.
Vaisakh Muraleedharan
Vaisakh is an ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant with 11 years of experience across KPMG India, KPMG UK and Crowe UK, specialising in financial services audit, corporate audit and controls assurance.
​
Having spent seven years working in London, he brings direct, hands-on experience of the UK audit environment. He has led complex financial services audits covering pension schemes and fiduciary businesses with AUM ranging from under £100 million to £4.5 billion per engagement, as well as controls assurance engagements under ISAE 3000 for regulated entities. He holds expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP, with a proven track record of reporting to boards, audit committees and senior client stakeholders across FTSE-listed and private companies.
